About Dontcha Remember
Dontcha Remember, Inc. was founded by two college friends in January of 2007. Katy Polansky and Joel Smith met in the honors business program at the University of Oregon in 2002. They became fast friends, realizing that they were destined to work to together later in life. However, the question remained, in what business?
Katy and Joel attended a dinner party in late 2006 where the conversation turned to the limited number of hours in a day. One of the mothers in attendance reflected on her guilt for never having made baby books and another commented on the endless boxes of photos that she wished were organized in a sharable fashion. Upon further research Katy and Joel determined that this was in fact a common problem and Dontcha Remember was born.
